Sulphur men booked on drug charges

SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) -

Two Sulphur men are accused of drug charges,  according to a news release from the Louisiana State Police.

Troopers said the arrests came Monday as a result of an undercover investigation conducted by Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations narcotics agents.

Troopers said on Tuesday, agents served an arrest warrant at the residence of 24-year-old Jonathan Kibodeaux.  

Kibodeaux is accused of distribution of a schedule II controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine).  

Troopers said they also arrested 38-year-old Derek Gumm of Hemphill, Texas, for possession of a schedule II controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine).

Both men were booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center.

Bond on Kibodeaux was set at $15,000.  

Bond for Gumm is pending.
