Rescue workers are combing the smoldering ruins of a West, Texas fertilizer plant today for survivors of a massive explosion. It leveled homes and businesses, and more than a dozen are feared dead, and many more injured. The blast was so powerful, it shook the ground with the strength of a small earthquake.
Also today, a couple faces charges after police say they left their handicapped child sitting in a wheelchair – inside their vehicle.
Plus, parents of students at a Texas school upset after finding out their kindergarteners were getting detention for being tardy.
In weather, an advancing cold front is expected to push through our area by early evening bringing with it a line of heavy rain and storms.
