LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

The man accused as the gunman in last month's triple murder in Lake Charles entered not guilty pleas in court Wednesday on several charges.

Armonta Hadnot is facing several counts of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder, among other charges in the case.

The shooting deaths happened March 21 at McMillan Park. Killed were 20-year old Jeminskian J. Arvie; 23-year-old David Jermaine Galmore; and 20-year-old Fitzgerald Tremayne Guillory, all of Lake Charles.

At least three other people are facing charges as alleged accomplices after the fact in connection with the murders.
