    Over the last couple of weeks someone has been circulating so-called BP oil claim forms in the Lake Charles area. While man, if not most medical claims associated with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill have been settled, someone is holding meetings around the Lake area trying to get people to sign up. But they're not too forthcoming when it comes to saying who they are or who they represent. McNeese Softball takes their doubleheader against Houston Baptist, giving Head Coach Mike Smith 701 wins for his career

McNeese Track and Field hosted its Springtime Classic Meet, where the Women's 4X100 meter team, La'Shantena Rounds (Women's Hammer Throw), Thomas Canchola (Men's Hammer Throw), Jarrett Leblanc (Men's One Mile Run) and Brock Moreaux (Men's 3000 Meter Steeplechase) were all winners for the Pokes.

Last but not least, McNeese Tennis falls to Stephen F. Austin 5-2
