Authorities seize vehicle and weapons from storage unit, related to Kaufman DA murder investigation

SEAGOVILLE, TX (KLTV) -

Federal officials executed a search warrant Saturday evening at a storage unit in Seagoville, a suburb of Dallas about 15 miles west of Kaufman.

According to WFAA, the search was executed Saturday evening, but an FBI spokesperson would not confirm who owns the unit being targeted at the Gibson Self Storage, but that investigators did say that they were following up on leads related to the Kaufman County murder investigation.

According to WFAA, sources say the locker had been rented on behalf of former Kaufman County Justice of the Peace Eric Williams. They also state that 20 weapons and a Ford Crown Victoria sedan were seized from the unit.
