Tyler fire officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire that left one woman dead Friday night.

The fire was reported around 7:45p.m. at the Villa Ridge town homes on Riviera Drive, off of Old Troup Highway. The address affected is 2415 Riviera.

The identity of the woman who was killed in this fire is not yet being released, but officials say they believe the fire started in the downstairs bedroom of the home, and that it appears to be accidental, but they stress that the investigation is still on-going.
