LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Two men accused in a case involving the shooting deaths of three Lake Charles men were indicted Friday in 14th Judicial District Court.
A Calcasieu Parish grand jury indicted 18-year-old Armonta DeQuon Hadnot on three counts of first-degree murder, three counts of attempted first-degree murder, six counts of armed robbery and armed robbery with a firearms. He was also indicted on three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
Killed in the March shootings at McMillan Park were 20-year old Jeminskian J. Arvie; 23-year-old David Jermaine Galmore; and 20-year-old Fitzgerald Tremayne Guillory.
Authorities said one man was shot as he was lying on the ground. Two others were fatally wounded as they tried to run away.
Also on Friday, the grand jury indicted Lon Allen Porter Jr. in relation to the case. Porter was indicted on three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, one count of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and one count of accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.
Authorities said Hadnot was the shooter in the March 20 deaths and Porter was the driver.
