Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

A horrendous story coming out of Allen Parish this morning. A 3-year-old girl, dead, following an incident in which she was severely burned. One man has been charged with aggravated battery, but that charge could be upgraded depending on the Coroner's report. We are updating this story throughout the day, so be sure to check out our story at noon and HERE.

Also today, more and more people in their 50's are finding new careers instead of retiring.  We'll meet one couple that's part of the new "older-preneur" generation.

Plus, a World War II veterans makes a flight in an historic B-17 – the one featured in the movie, "Memphis Belle." We'll show you how it was a birthday gift 70 years in the making.

Our morning kicked off with cooler temperatures, but Ben tells me we'll warm into the 70's by this afternoon. We'll drop back down into the 40's and 50's by early tomorrow. What else can we expect over the weekend? Tune in at noon for Ben's live, local forecast for the answers.

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and we hope you have a wonderful, safe weekend!
