LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

The Creole Nature Trail All-American Road will be the first ever segment of American Detours, a national video web series that features classic American cars on classic American routes.

AmericanDetoursTV.com will debut Monday, April 15. The trailer for the web series is already available on YouTube.com.

In November 2012, the CNT competed against scenic routes from all over the country in online voting to be chosen for the video web series and was successful.

The Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau hosted the show's film crew for four days earlier this year, providing them with a packed itinerary, guide service throughout the shoot, as well as plenty of our wonderful Cajun cuisine.

For more information, contact Anne Klenke, Creole Nature Trail/Adventure Tourism Director for the Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau, at 337-502-4347 or aklenke@visitlakecharles.org.
