City council approves incentives package, could create 200 jobs

The Tyler City Council unanimously approved an incentives package that could create up to 200 jobs.

Distant Lands Coffee plans to expand operations in Tyler, investing in single-cup coffee brewing technology.

The company plans to re-locate to a 44,000 square foot facility in Northeast Tyler that was formerly occupied by Stanco.

The company expects to begin production at that facility in mid to late July, pending approval from Smith County.
