CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (KPLC) - A man has pleaded guilty to second-degree kidnapping in 14th Judicial District Court.
According to the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office, William Paul Morgan entered the plea.
He was sentenced to 15 years with seven years suspended and five years supervised probation.
Morgan also pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order and will serve an additional six months to run at the same time as the kidnapping sentence.
In October 2011, police say Morgan kidnapped his estranged wife from her workplace in Lake Charles and held her at gunpoint for several hours.
