2nd Annual Allen Parish Canoe Festival to be held April 18-20

The 2nd Annual Allen Parish Canoe Festival will be held April 18-20 at the Allen Parish Fair Grounds, located at 400 Allen Ave. in Oberlin, La.

The festival will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and will last from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday.

The event will feature live music, a benefit cook-off and a "beer garden."

The Backyard Boys will perform on Friday at 5 p.m., and Geno Delafosse will perform on Friday at 7 p.m.
