SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) - All three eastbound lanes of I-10 in Sulphur at La. 108 will be closed early Wednesday, April 10, between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.
According to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, traffic will be required to exit at La. 108 (Exit 23) and detour to U.S. 90 via La. 108.
Officials said message boards will be in place to advise travelers of the alternate route.
Officials said additionally, one eastbound lane of I-10 in Sulphur, just east of La. 108 (Exit 23), will be closed early Wednesday, from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.
Traffic will reportedly be maintained in the two open lanes.
Officials said closures are necessary to remove an overhead truss sign.
