18 Wheeler goes up in flames in Walmart parking lot

Good Afternoon,

Lee Peck in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on for 7 News at Six.

The victims in last week's triple homicide were laid to rest today. We'll have a recap of the case.

Plus, crowds of customers witnessed an 18-wheeler go up in flames at the Walmart on Highway 14. We were there as Lake Charles fire fighters put the fire out.

And it was a day to honor our Vietnam Veterans. The Mayor's Armed Forces Commission paid tribute to the men and women who served.

Also nearly 100 men and women tried to prove they have what it takes to be a Lake Charles Police officer. See what they had to do pass the test.

Aside from the clouds it was a nice start to our Easter weekend. Meteorologist Cedric Haynes has a look at what we can expect for Easter Sunday.

We'll see you tonight at six for these stories and more. Until then we're always on at kplctv.com.
