Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

Former Jennings Police Chief, Johnny Lassiter, pleads innocent in state district court to malfeasance and other felony charges. We'll tell you when his trial is set.

A local church sponsors a way for folks to get some much needed clothes – clothes that can come in handy when attended those Easter services. We'll show you what happened this morning as clothing, shoes and more were made available for those in need.

Also today, a unique intense program is helping stroke survivors communicate – even years after they've had their stroke. We'll see how this rehabilitation program is bringing hope to so many patients.

Plus, spring is here and it's time to start shedding that winter outerwear. We'll have some of the hottest new trends in spring jackets.

We'll also bring you to the big Easter Egg hunt near the Lake Charles Civic Center today as kids made a mad dash for all the hidden goodies.

Ben tells me the rain will hold off for today, but that might not be the case for Saturday and Sunday. Just what sort of weather can we expect for our Easter weekend? Ben will have the answer in his live, local forecast at noon.

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and have a safe and happy Easter weekend!
