Patriotic tribute at Cowgirl Diamond

Good Evening,

Lee Peck here in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on for Nightcast.

It was a patriotic display this afternoon at Cowgirl Diamond as the McNeese Softball team held a Military Appreciation Day. We're there for the tribute to our troops and veterans and the special first pitch.

Also the annual Palm Sunday Tour of Homes gave hundreds a glimpse inside some of the Lake Area's most historic homes.

And we showed you the ribbon cutting and grand reopening of Millennium Park, tonight we'll tell you about a partnership that's in the works to get children and their families walking from downtown to the Lakefront.

Plus, it we didn't see any rain today but the wind was something fierce. Meteorologist Cedric Haynes will have your forecast.

We'll see you tonight at ten for these stories and more. Until then we are always online at kplctv.com.
