(Source: Department of Defense) (Source: Department of Defense)

Good afternoon,

Lee Peck from the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on today.

Ten years ago today, President Bush announced U.S. military forces had moved into Iraq for the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom. KPLC's Gerron Jordan takes a look back and talks with two members of the Louisiana National Guard who served.

Plus, a film about the only woman executed in Louisiana profiles the life and death of Toni Jo Henry, who was killed in the Calcasieu Parish Courthouse. KPLC's Theresa Schmidt has this story.

Also, a look at why Louisiana residents are paying more for car insurance.

And the nice weather continues, but for how long? Chief Meteorologist Wade Hampton has your forecast.

We'll see you tonight at five and six. Until then for the latest in news, weather and sports, log on to kplctv.com.
