MOSS BLUFF, LA (KPLC) -
There were no injuries in a minor Monday morning accident involving a school bus and a car in front of Moss Bluff Elementary.
According to Louisiana State Police, both vehicles were traveling westbound on La. 378, trying to make a left turn when the accident occurred.
Troopers said the preliminary information suggests that both vehicles may have misunderstood direction by the school crossing guard and turned at the same time.
No one was hurt.
A total of 41 people were on the bus at the time, 21 were elementary students and 19 were from the middle and high schools.
