LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - The sounds of jazz music flowed through the Central School Auditorium in Lake Charles on Sunday evening.
Jazz in the Arts foundation, a local non-profit, hosted musicians from Jennings and Beaumont for a jazz concert.
Saxophonist Marcus Davis performed for jazz-lovers in the Southwest Louisiana area. Davis has played alongside artists such as Tramaine Hawkins, The Temptations and Mikki Howard.
Following Davis, Ronnie and Nandria Rocio, of Beaumont, took the stage.
Ronnie plays the drums and sings. He has opened for a number of well-known artists such as Natalie Cole, Bobby Bland and Ray Charles.
Jazz in the Arts receives funding for their organization through their quarterly concerts. Their next concert will be June 2 at Central School.
