    Over the last couple of weeks someone has been circulating so-called BP oil claim forms in the Lake Charles area. While man, if not most medical claims associated with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill have been settled, someone is holding meetings around the Lake area trying to get people to sign up. But they're not too forthcoming when it comes to saying who they are or who they represent. BEAUREGARD PARISH, LA (KPLC) -

The Beauregard Parish Health Unit and local veterinarians will hold the parish's annual rabies clinic day on Saturday, April 6.

The vaccination, rabies tag and certificate will be at a low cost of $8 for dogs and cats.

The doctors will be located at the following sites throughout the morning of April 6:

Dr. G.J. Abdalla – Beauregard Veterinary Clinic, 3014 Hwy. 171 South, DeRidder; from 8 a.m. to noon. For more, call 337-463-2001.

Dr. Bert Coco – Junction Grocery, Merryville; from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Dr. Sally Coco – Westside Veterinary Clinic, 3476 Hwy. 190 West, DeRidder; from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. For more, call 337-463-3922.

Dr. Catherine White – Foreman's Meat Market, Dry Creek; from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and Brewer's Grocery, Bundick Lake; from 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. She will also be at Paws and Claws Animal Hospital, 2243 Hwy. 171, DeRidder; from 10:30 a.m. to noon. For more, call 337-463-2838.

Dr. Ted Hoerner – Hoerner Veterinary Hospital, 1625 N. Pine Street, DeRidder; from 8 a.m. to noon; and St. Pius X Catholic Church, Ragley; from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. He will also be at the Country One Stop in Longville from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
