The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating an overnight shooting that claimed the life of 33-year-old Quincy James Ledet of Lake Charles.
According to officials, Ledet was involved in a verbal altercation inside The Keg nightclub with 23-year-old Jordan Mikole Davis. After being escorted out of the club, the altercation continued. Officials say it was in the parking lot that Davis pulled out a handgun and shot Ledet.
As arrest warrant has been issued for Davis. He is being charged with 2nd degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $350,000.
A third man, 23-year-old Robert Louis Davis was questioned by detectives on Sunday and charged with accessory after the fact to 2nd degree murder for his involvement in the shooting. He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

The Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office has formed an investigative team for cold case homicides in the parish, with its first focus being on a 1980 murder. The Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in their investigation of the unsolved homicide of Mary Darlene Howard, 15, whose body was found in a wooded area on West Boundary Road in the Sandy Hill area in Leesville on April 27, 1980, said VPSO Detective Rhonda Jordan.More >>
