Jennings woman accused of obstruction of justice, improper supervision of a minor

JENNINGS, LA (KPLC) -

A Jennings woman is facing charges of obstruction of justice and improper supervision of a minor.

According to investigators with the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office, Nichole Lantz, 20, was arrested at her residence at 806 Gallup Street in Jennings on Friday, March 8.

The arrest came after an investigation of a sex offender, previously arrested for a parole violation.

Lantz is the mother of the juvenile that was staying in the home with a registered sex offender, according to authorities.  

She was booked into the parish jail and later released on bond.
