BEAUREGARD PARISH, LA (KPLC) -

An Anacoco is accused of aggravated rape, according to a news release from the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office.

Bob Burgess, 45, was arrested Feb. 15 at the Sheriff's Office in DeRidder, authorities said.

He was booked on an aggravated rape charge following an investigation by the Sheriff's Office Sex Crimes Unit.

Burgess was released on $500,000 bond.
