CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (KPLC) -
A Lake Charles woman is accused of inappropriate sexual contact with a 16-year-old male she reportedly met online, authorities said.
According to a news release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, 41-year-old Renee E. Broussard has been charged with 11 counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Authorities said on Friday, the Sheriff's Office received a complaint regarding Broussard allegedly having inappropriate sexual contact with the 16-year-old.
"During further investigation, Broussard confirmed she had inappropriate sexual contact with the 16-year-old victim on numerous occasions since October 2012," the release states.
Broussard was released on $110,000 bond set by Judge Clayton Davis.
