BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
LSU (6-1) posted a 3-1 record last week and is ranked number nine in this week's Baseball America Poll. The Tigers started their four game week by beating Lamar on Tuesday 8-1. The Tigers returned to action Thursday and beat BYU 6-5. LSU suffered its first loss of the season against BYU on Saturday 9-4, but bounced back on Sunday to beat SLU 13-1.
LSU hits the road for the first time tomorrow against UL-Lafayette.
