Kinder man dies in three vehicle crash near Basile

Lee Peck from the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on for Nightcast.

It started out as a beautiful Sunday but changes are on the way. We've already seen some scattered showers and reports of hail in our area. Meteorologist Cedric Haynes tells us what we can expect overnight heading into Monday.

Plus, more tonight on that three vehicle crash we first told you about last night. According to State Police the driver who was in critical condition died of his injuries at a local hospital.

And he's wanted in the June 2011 shooting death of his estranged wife, but where is Joe Constance? Tonight, we'll have a preview of this week's Cold Case investigation.

Also, a new petition revisits concerns about the proposed I-210 Cove Lane construction project. KPLC's Gerron Jordan talks with one family concerned with cost and layout of the plan.

Congress now has until Friday to come to an agreement before automatic spending cuts go into effect. Even if they do come to a compromise big cuts are on the way. Governor Bobby Jindal is asking President Obama to delay Obama Care to help with these cuts. You'll hear what Jindal had to say on this morning's edition of "NBC's Meet the Press."

    Deputies are investigating a suspicious death East of DeRidder, according to Chief Detective Mark Herford, Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office.  The office was notified of the body around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, says Herford.
