Trimark team to manage emerging markets mandate
TORONTO, Feb. 21, 2013 /CNW/ - Invesco Canada Ltd. today announced
portfolio management and investment strategy changes to Invesco
Emerging Markets Class. The Fund will be renamed Trimark Emerging
Markets Class, with Jeff Feng as lead manager and Virginia Au as
co-manager, effective April 5, 2013.
The pair will also be supported by two investment analysts from the
Trimark Global Equities team. Invesco Advisers, Inc. will continue to
manage the cash portion of the Fund.
Using the proven Trimark discipline of applying a rigorous, bottom-up,
fundamental investment approach to analyze the quality and value of
individual companies, the team will seek to achieve capital growth for
the Fund over the long term by investing the Fund's assets primarily in
equity securities of companies located or active in emerging markets.

The portfolio managers will seek out businesses whose competitive
advantages provide opportunities for long-term growth, have strong
management and are believed to be attractively priced in relation to
their intrinsic value.
As lead manager of Trimark International Companies Fund/Class, co-lead
manager of Trimark Global Fundamental Equity Fund/Class, and co-manager
for Trimark Fund and Trimark Global Dividend Class, Mr. Feng
specializes in international equities, and is responsible for the
emerging-markets components of these Funds.
Mr. Feng began his investment career in 1997 and joined the Trimark
Investments team in 2009. He earned his MBA from the Richard Ivey
School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He also holds
the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Ms. Au began her investment career in 2003 and joined the Trimark
Investments team in 2006. A member of the award-winning Trimark
Small-Cap Equities team, she is co-manager of Trimark Canadian Small
Companies Fund, Trimark U.S. Small Companies Class and Trimark Global
Small Companies Class. Ms. Au earned a B.Comm. from The University of
British Columbia and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
