CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (KPLC) -

A Pennsylvania man is accused of online solicitation and indecent behavior in Calcasieu Parish following an investigation by the Calcasieu Sheriff's Office Vice Division.

According to a news release from Calcasieu authorities, in January, the Vice Division began an investigation after receiving a complaint regarding a 13-year-old girl living in Calcasieu receiving numerous nude images and sexually explicit messages via Facebook and text messaging.

The messages reportedly came from a man she met online. Timothy L. Kelly, 38, of Jeannette, Penn., is alleged to have sent those messages.

"After a month-long investigation, Judge Clayton Davis signed a warrant for Kelly's arrest and the information was forwarded to Greensburg Police Department in Greensburg, Pennsylvania," the release states.

Authorities said Kelly was arrested by Greensburg police on Feb. 11.

Kelly is awaiting extradition to Calcasieu. Authorities said he will be booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with online solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior involving a minor.

Judge Clayton Davis set bond in the case at $700,000.
