At Last...

This is Cynthia Arceneaux from the KPLC Newsroom. The nightmare is finally over for some three thousand vacation goers who were stranded aboard that crippled Carnival cruise ship. The "triumph" docked in Mobile, Alabama last night. We got to talk to some of the passengers from Lake Charles, who say they're glad to be on their way back home. If the five day ordeal wasn't enough, how about this for more troubles!.... After they got off the ship, some of the passengers were put on a bus to be transported to Houston and elsewhere... and that bus broke down!

Governor Bobby Jindal says he won't reconsider expanding medicaid in the state. That's despite the agreement among a half dozen other Republican governors who have decided to participate. Governor Jindal's refusal to take part in the program means some 400 thousand Louisiana residents won't be eligible for medicaid. Join us for these stories and more, plus Wade Hampton's pinpoint forecast on Live At Five and 7news At Six.
