DERIDDER, LA (KPLC) -
Two women accused in the murder of a Ragley man were indicted this week by a Beauregard Parish grand jury.
According to Beauregard Parish District Attorney David W. Burton, 54-year-old Catherine Anderson and 50-year-old Cheryl Schonsby were jointly indicted on charges of second-degree murder and criminal conspiracy to commit second-degree murder.
The charges stem from the shooting death of 53-year-old Jerry D. Stover on Christmas Eve at a home occupied by Anderson and Stover.
Bonds are set at $750,000 each on the charges of second-degree murder and $500,000 each on the conspiracy charges, Burton said.
Both Anderson and Schonsby remain in custody.
Burton said arraignment for the women will be slated and trial dates will be set thereafter.
