The American Red Cross is assisting a Lake charles family burned out by a fire. The Red Cross says they learned about the displaced family after two units at a home on Broadmoor Street burned. The family had 9 children including an infant.
And you might call it a "family affair..." Authorities arrest a family of three in Eunice accused of selling prescription drugs. The DEA and Eunice Police took part in the sting operation involving family members Barry Bordelon, his wife Theresa, and their son Barry Bordelon the Second.

Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of stealing ATVs in Calcasieu and Jeff Davis parishes, authorities say. On Nov. 26, the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office received a complaint of a stolen Honda ATV. Patrol deputies, with the assistance of the Welsh Police Department, located the ATV in Welsh, said Cmdr. Ramby Cormier, JDSO spokesman.More >>

A Texas man is dead after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning while walking on La. 12 in Starks. At 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 10, Louisiana State Police Troop D responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on La. 12 near Old River Road, about 4.5 miles east of the Texas state line, said Sgt.
