On the girls side, the Sulphur Lady Tors have been a powerhouse this season, finishing the regular season 22-and-3 and sweeping through district 3-5A with a perfect 12-and-0 record. Sulphur is ranked #6 in the latest 5A power rankings.

In class 4a, the DeRidder Lady Dragons and district champ St. Louis should get high playoff seeds, along with the South Beau girls in 3A, the #3 ranked Pickering Red Devils and Lake Arthur in 2A, and Merryville in Class 1A.
