Teacher On A Mission - KPLC 7 News, Lake Charles, Louisiana

Teacher On A Mission

This is Cynthia Arceneaux from the KPLC Newsroom.  A former Calcasieu Parish teacher has sold all of her possessions to fund a ministry that saves prostitutes in Thailand... a place she now considers home.  Tonight at ten, you'll see how she's sacrificed so much to help pull the girls out of a dangerous lifestyle.

Also tonight, that crippled Carnival cruise ship is slowly making its way to Mobile, Alabama.  7News has a crew in Alabama right now to greet the passengers as they make it in to port.  We've also spoken to relatives of some of the passengers right here from the Lake area.

Plus an Abbeville teen is facing two murder charges. 17 year old D'Andre Sinegal is accused of killing two brothers yesterday morning.  The Abbeville Police Department is still conducting interviews and continuing the investigation.  Join us tonight at ten on 7News Nightcast for these stories and more... along with Drew Shirley with Sports and Wade Hampton with your full weather forecast.
