JEFF DAVIS PARISH, LA (KPLC) -
An 18-year-old Hathaway teen is accused of computer-aided solicitation of a minor, indecent behavior with juveniles and child pornography production.
According to a news release from Christopher Ivey, commander of the criminal investigations division of the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office, Michael "Mikey" Gotte Jr.'s arrest came Tuesday following an investigation into a complaint.
Ivey said the complaint came from a parent who reportedly found inappropriate text messages and images on his 14-year-old step-daughter's cell phone.
"Gotte Jr. was picked up and questioned by Sheriff's Office detectives in reference to the investigation which led to his arrest," Ivey said.
Gotte is currently being held in the Jeff Davis Parish Jail.
