It is a standing room only crowd tonight at the Oberlin Town Council meeting.
A public hearing is currently being held where the townspeople of Oberlin are questioning Mayor Rick Smith on upcoming changes that will affect health insurance for town employees.
Smith says some elected officials and full time town employees will soon receive only 80% health insurance coverage from the previous 100%.
Many of the people affected by the change are asking questions on why these cuts must be made and if there are other options.
Mayor Smith says changes will not effect full time elected officials- mayor and police chief but says the insurance company is checking to see if it will affect part time councilmen, city attorney and other part time elected officials.
