The Lake Charles and Southwest Continuum of Care are asking for your help in an upcoming survey.
The "Point in Time Homeless Count Survey" will take place Tuesday, Feb. 26. The survey results help officials determine the amount of federal funding available for homeless assistance in Louisiana.
An estimated 50 to 100 volunteers are needed. Participants are asked to take part in an important pre-count training session on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the First United Methodist Church on 812 Kirkman Street in Lake Charles.
