JEFF DAVIS PARISH, LA (KPLC) - A Lacassine High School student is accused of drug possession in a drug-free zone, among other charges.
According to a news release from the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office, Garrett Patrick Guillory, 18, is charged with possession of CDS II and III, as well as possession of CDS in a drug-free zone.
Authorities said the arrest came after they were called to the high school to investigate a report of a student in possession of drugs. Guillory was reportedly in possession of methamphetamine and Suboxone.
Guillory was transported by narcotics detectives and booked into the Jeff Davis Parish Jail.
