CASS COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas man was killed in a wreck involving an 18-wheeler in Cass County.

Kolton Lee Perry, 20, of Avinger was killed when his pick-up truck veered across the center line of Highway 155 near Highway 49 near Avinger and struck the trailer of an 18-wheeler.

The driver of the 18-wheeler, 59-year-old, Daniel Thomas Hallisey of Wake Village near Texarkana was not injured.

Authorities believe Perry may have fallen asleep on his way home from work. The wreck is still under investigation.
