'Hiring Our Heroes' job fair set Tuesday in Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

A "Hiring Our Heroes" job fair will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Lake Charles Civic Center Exhibition Hall.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to noon.

The fair is for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses.

The fair is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Southwest Louisiana, the Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Louisiana Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the Louisiana Workforce Commission, the SWLA Economic Development Alliance, the Beaumont Texas Chamber, Texas Workforce Solutions of Southeast Texas, NBC News and other local partners.
