CAMERON PARISH, LA (KPLC) -

The Cameron Ferry is working again Monday, but it's going to be pulled out of action again this week.

A notice from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says that operation will be suspended for Ferry #2 on Tuesday for approximately 12 hours.

It's reportedly for maintenance work which will start at 8:30 a.m.

The outage over the weekend was caused by engine failure.
