Memorial Medical Group welcomes Paul E. Fenn, MD, an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in lower extremity reconstruction and foot and ankle surgery, to their staff. He will join orthopaedic surgeons Drs. Brett Cascio, Nathan Cohen, Lawrence Weber, and Thomas Axelrad and physiatrist Dr. Michael Lane, on the staff of Orthopaedic Specialists.
Dr. Fenn received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College; Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, followed by an orthopaedic fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Harvard University in Boston. Prior to joining Memorial Medical Group and Orthopaedic Specialists, Dr. Fenn practiced orthopaedic surgery in the Lafayette and Alexandria areas.
As the only fellowship trained orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon in the area, Dr. Fenn is experienced in the treatment of injuries and conditions of the lower extremities including arthritis, strains, sprains, fractures and plantar fasciitis. He is also specialized in total ankle replacement as well as complex foot and ankle reconstruction. He has published research on conditions such as ankle fractures and posterior tibial tendon dysfunction.
