LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Lake Charles Police say they have located the man alleged to have attempted to touch a teen inappropriately in a restaurant restroom.

No arrests have been made, however, and authorities continue to investigate.

No other details were released.

According to a news release from Lake Charles authorities, the 16-year-old said the incident happened when he was in the restroom of the McDonald's at 4212 Ryan Street at around 11:19 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities said the teen reported that he was able to ward off the alleged advances and leave the restroom.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Lake Charles Police Department at 337-491-1311.

Detective Jeff Atkinson is handling the investigation.
