Local man meets his brother after 20 years

Happy Thursday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*It was a special moment for two brothers, meeting each other for the first time in 20 years.  We'll take you to Lake Charles Regional Airport where the unforgettable moment was captured on camera.

*A stand-off continues in Alabama this morning, where a gunman holds a young boy hostage in an underground bunker.  Sheriff's deputies say Jimmy Lee Dykes shot and killed a school bus driver and took the child.

*DeRidder authorities want the public to contact them if they know anything about an attempted kidnapping.  Police say a man tried to drag a woman into a car after throwing powder in her face and grabbing her around the throat.

*In Assumption Parish, the search for a missing Baton Rouge firefighter will resume later this morning.  The firefighter's wife tells police they were getting ready to place crawfish traps at the Belle River Landing yesterday when he went into the water.

*It's a cooler morning today.  Meteorologist Ben Terry will let us know if any areas are dealing with frost in SWLA this morning.

Make it a Sunrise day!
