LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -
An unusual traffic obstacle squeezed I-10 traffic to one lane early Wednesday morning.
It happened along I-10 near the Opelousas Street exit in Lake Charles.
Authorities said a forklift fell off a truck in the eastbound lanes, leaving two of the right lanes blocked.
Louisiana State Police and the Lake Charles Police Department diverted traffic away from the road hazard from about 8:40 a.m. to 10 a.m. when the lanes were finally cleared.
No one was injured in the incident.
Authorities are working to identify the owner of the machinery.
