    Over the last couple of weeks someone has been circulating so-called BP oil claim forms in the Lake Charles area. While man, if not most medical claims associated with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill have been settled, someone is holding meetings around the Lake area trying to get people to sign up. But they're not too forthcoming when it comes to saying who they are or who they represent. LAFAYETTE PARISH, LA (KPLC) -

A Rayne man was killed in a Monday crash on La. 342 in Lafayette Parish.

According to Louisiana State Police, killed was 49-year-old Troy Sarver.

Troopers said Sarver was traveling in a 2008 Dodge truck east on La. 342.

Troopers said for unknown reasons still under investigation, Sarver traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected to the right and overturned in a ditch.

Troopers said Sarver was not restrained and was pronounced dead by the Lafayette Parish Coroner.

Troopers said it is unknown if Sarver was impaired.

Toxicology samples were obtained and will be submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.

The crash remains under investigation.
