Lake Charles police have made two arrests in a stabbing at a local hotel.

According to a news release from the Lake Charles Police Department, on Sunday, officers responded to Oasis Inn and Suites at 1000 North Lakeshore Drive in reference to a stabbing.

Authorities said a man was stabbed in a guest room and transported to a local hospital for treatment of several stab wounds. 

After an investigation, Juan Fernando, 21, of Lake Charles, and Juan Martinez, 28, also of Lake Charles, were charged in the case.

Both were booked on attempted second-degree murder charges.

Bonds are set at $500,000 each.
