Caitlyn Baggett is Southland Conference Player of the Week

It was a great week for the McNeese State Cowgirls, especially the Baggett sister whose name starts with 'C.'

Give up? It's Caitlyn Baggett, she of the Iota Baggetts, and she is the Southland Conference player of the week.

The McNeese State senior averaged 16-point-5 points, 4-point-5 assists and 2-point-5 steals as the Cowgirls beat Central Arkansas and Oral Roberts on the road last week.

Caitlyn is now in 7th place on McNeese's all time scoring list and is just 27 assists away from becoming the school's all time leader.

The Cowgirls play Stephen F. Austin on Wednesday.
