The Grand Lake Pontoon Bridge is out of Service. According to the Cameron Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness a barge striking pivot arm of bridge causing moderate damage. Officials say the bridge will possibly be back in service Monday morning.
Meanwhile Cameron Parish Schools Superintendent Stephanie Rodrigue says they are working with bus drivers and parents to make everyone aware of possible delays in pick up times should the bridge be closed on Monday.
