Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

If you have questions about what's going on in Washington, the place to be this morning was a special town hall meeting held by Congressman Charles Boustany. That meeting took place at the Calcasieu Council on Aging and KPLC's Gerron Jordan was there. Look for our report at noon.

Also today, do you believe you're eating exactly what's listed on food labels? If you do, you may be truly mistaken. We're going to take a look at some key products that are prime targets for food fraud.

Plus, it's being called a first-of-its-kind cancer study on dogs. We'll explain how it's tracking the canines over their entire lives and will use the findings to try and determine why some get cancer.

A bit of fog and overcast skies this morning, but Ben says the sunshine returns with temperatures reaching the mid 70's this afternoon. Will we get more fog overnight, and are there any rain chances as we head into the weekend? Ben is preparing his live, local forecast right now – so be sure to tune in at noon.

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and have a great day!
