L'Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles announces the promotions of Sean Demeule to Assistant General Manager and Vice President of Finance and Administration, Michael Pendergast to Vice President of Resort Operations and Jeff DiVito to Vice President of Food and Beverage, all pending regulatory approval.

Henson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of L'Auberge Lake Charles.
Sean Demeule adds the role of Assistant General Manager to his existing Vice President of Finance and Administration duties. Demeule has served as Vice President of Finance and Administration at L'Auberge since March 2011. In addition to managing accounting, finance, risk management, compliance, cashier, and count team departments for the property, Demeule will now take on additional duties with oversight of the operational excellence, food and beverage, and facilities operations at the gaming resort.
Demeule originally came to L'Auberge Lake Charles from Boomtown Casino & Hotel Bossier City, a property owned by L'Auberge parent company Pinnacle Entertainment, where he was Director of Marketing. Prior to joining the gaming industry, Demeule served more than nine years in the U.S. Army. Demeule's education includes a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy, a Master of Science in public administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.
Michael Pendergast has been promoted from Director of Hotel Operations to Vice President of Resort Operations. In this new role, he will be responsible for developing an environment that creates outstanding and memorable service for L'Auberge guests. Pendergast will manage day-to-day operations of the 1,000 room hotel including oversight of front desk services, housekeeping, guest services and VIP hotel services. L'Auberge is currently undergoing a $17-million room renovation project which Pendergast will manage.
Prior to joining L'Auberge, Pendergast held an array of positions with Caesars Entertainment at properties including Harrah's New Orleans, Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, Harrah's Shreveport Casino & Hotel and Horseshoe Tunica. Prior to joining Caesars, he worked for The Fairmont Hotel New Orleans, The Ritz Carlton Atlanta and the Hyatt Regency Dallas.
Jeff DiVito has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Food and Beverage. DiVito joined L'Auberge in April 2011 from Pinnacle Entertainment's Lumiere Place property in St. Louis in the role of Director of Food and Beverage. He will be responsible for managing all property food and beverage services including restaurants, bars, lounges and catering operations.
DiVito is a seasoned professional with more than 25 years' experience in the hospitality industry. He spent 13 years with Station Casinos, ultimately taking on the role of Corporate Vice President of Food and Beverage. DiVito spent his formative years at the prestigious Peninsula Hotel and Waldorf Astoria, both in New York City.
